How to Run Norton Utilities in Windows?

The Norton Utilities application suite, designed by Symantec, repairs damaged documents, removes unnecessary files and cleans up the Windows XP registry after norton.com/setup. Norton Utilities speeds up your computer's start time and frees up hard drive space, making it a useful tool for slower, older computers that need a performance boost. Symantec offers Norton Utilities on a CD or as a digital download. To run Norton Utilities, install the program on your computer and enter your activation details norton.com/setup.
Insert the Norton setup Utilities CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive. If you have a digital copy, double-click the Norton Utilities installation file. Click "Install Norton Utilities."

Type your name, activation code and email address. If you purchased Norton Utilities on CD, find your activation code on the back of the included Quick Start Card. If you purchased a digital copy of Norton Utilities, check your email for an activation code. Click "Activate Now."
Step 8
Click the Windows "Start" button, select "Programs" and choose "Norton Utilities" to launch the program.
